Environment Week Edmonton Kick off Party is shaping up to be a blast!

With nearly 20 confirmed exhibits, the Old Strathcona Farmer’s Market next door, and an order placed for sunshine – June 2nd is looking like a great day to come down to Dr. Wilbur McIntyre Park!

We have put together an event like Edmonton hasn’t seen before. Games, activities, crafts, and challenges will be in abundance. What won’t be there? Tables full of trinkets for sale, and boring tables covered in brochures while someone tries to tell you about how awesome their product is.

Some of our friends coming down on June 2nd include:

Music Is A Weapon

Bringing their ever popular bike-powered blenders, pick your ingredients and then challenge your friend to see who can blend their smoothie first!

Tiny Labs

If you haven’t seen Tiny Labs before, you’re in for a real treat! Bringing fun recyclable crafts, bug specimens and maybe even a special prize Draw!

More to Come!

We will feature a couple more of our awesome exhibitors here every day or two over the next week, and will publish the full list to our events page soon.

About Environment Week Edmonton

Environment Week celebrates Edmonton’s environment. It is a great time for Edmontonians to host and attend events that include some learning, some fun and some action. Action is doing something on purpose to lessen your impact on the environment. Celebrating and action projects are great ways to bring a community together towards a greener future. Participating in local Environment Week events is a great way to discover easy things you can do for the environment. The choices you make – big and small – really do make a difference because your action counts!
