Winners Announced!

OK, I am the first to admit I’m late getting this up. I am going with the reason that I was drawing out the suspense for everyone who entered, not that it took us about 3 and a 1/2 weeks to get all the prizes delivered and then catch up on sleep!

That being said – we had a great time delivering prizes to our winners, and we’d love for you to meet some of them. Were you a winner? Snap a picture of you & your prize and send it to us at Events@EnvironmentWeekEdmonton.com and we’ll add it to our gallery below!

Stay tuned for a special article later this summer as we meet the winner of the solar panel home installation and learn what an installation involves!

Some of our Environment Week Edmonton winners:

Sam didn’t enter the draw, but she was more than happy to model the new rain barrel her Mom Andi won by entering the draw after hearing about it on Global News!

Sarah

Sarah from Edmonton was thrilled to get her Home Saver bag after entering the draw while cruising the University of Alberta’s Office of Sustainability Facebook page!

Dianne heard about the draw from a co-worker and entered online, winning an Alberta History Pass for her family!

Lise entered the contest after finding it here on the Environment Week Edmonton home page while looking for events to attend, and was looking forward to using the energy-efficient night light in Emma’s room!

Bob & Janna

Bob and Janna out in Sherwood Park entered the draw while attending one of the stops on the Eco Solar Home Tour and were rewarded with a Grab bag of green goodies for their home!

About Environment Week Edmonton

Environment Week celebrates Edmonton’s environment. It is a great time for Edmontonians to host and attend events that include some learning, some fun and some action. Action is doing something on purpose to lessen your impact on the environment. Celebrating and action projects are great ways to bring a community together towards a greener future. Participating in local Environment Week events is a great way to discover easy things you can do for the environment. The choices you make – big and small – really do make a difference because your action counts!
